In this picture I am wearing my work hard hat. Since 1970, I have worked at the same place under 3 different owners, the latest being Phelps Dodge.  It is a mine in the Globe-Miami Area.  Before this job I had about a dozen or more jobs, trying lots of different things.  I also was in the Navy from 1965 t0 1968.

You may notice that My hard hat is labeled A. J. Freeman.  In High School I went by "John".  The name on my birth certificate is Alexander John Freeman.   While I was in the Navy I started going by "AJ".  I am married, since 1967, to the same person.  I guess I'm stuck with her.  I have 2 sons, 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
