Thanks so much for sending the
information for your class reunion. My Husband, Greg Egnor, had fond
memories of Mesa High!
I want to let you know that he passed away on November 14, 2002, after a
courageous battle with cancer. We were married in 1975 and were able to
enjoy 27 happy years together. We lived in Snowflake most of our
marriage. We have two awesome sons, Cody who is 22 and Logan who is
19. Greg was the Construction Director for Navajo County. He built
county buildings using prison labor from the Winslow Prison. He was able
to fulfill his life time dream of owning a cattle ranch. We have
wonderful memories of our family time together on the ranch in New Mexico
We send our best wishes to all the graduates of Mesa High School!
Cordially, Lea Egnor |

Valona spent the last 23 years of her life battling M.S.. She fought all the
way to the end, and spent most of her time buying and selling Indian art over
the internet. She lived in Payson with her husband, Dave Crowell, they
were married for over 20 years. Valona wrote a book "The Artist and the
Bucking Horse". It is now in the private collection of the Pro Rodeo Hall
of Champions in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was nationally recognized as a
leading collector of Indian art, and owned a very nice personal collection of
deceased Indian artist paintings and sculptures.

Linda passed away from complications from diabetes and cancer. She will truly
be missed. We always considered ourselves the four musketeers: Carolyn (Olsen)
Balash, Rhonda (Curl) Jones, Candy (Godfrey) Ledger and of course Linda. We
have all stayed friends since elementary school, with Linda becoming our
fourth in Jr. High. We would get together as often as possible through the
years since one lives out of state. We have reminisced so many times about
running around in my little red jeep. Our beehive hairdo's blowing in the wind
and the rain. But we always looked perfect for school. So the memories carry
on but our hearts are breaking for losing our friend. We know she is our
little angel in heaven.
